ABS

ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) combines rigidity, toughness and a high-quality surface finish, making it one of the most widely specified thermoplastics for injection moulded components. We stock virgin grades from Kumho Petrochemical alongside our own repro range, covering general purpose, high-flow and fire-retardant requirements — ex-stock from Coventry, no minimum order quantity.

ABS KUMHO 750SW Natural - General Purpose

A natural, uncoloured general-purpose ABS grade offering a balanced combination of impact strength, stiffness and surface finish for standard injection moulding. Its uncoloured base makes it a straightforward choice where parts are coloured downstream or moulded as-is.

Typical propertiesBalanced impact and stiffness typical of a general-purpose ABS; natural/uncoloured for downstream colouring; good surface finish.
ApplicationsGeneral injection moulded components, appliance housings, enclosures and retail fixtures.

ABS KUMHO 780 Black – High Flow

A high-flow, black ABS grade developed for thinner-walled and more complex mouldings, where fill pressures and cycle times are a key consideration. The elevated flow supports longer flow paths and intricate detail without giving up the toughness expected of an ABS grade.

Typical propertiesHigher melt flow than general-purpose ABS grades, supporting thin-wall mouldings; pre-coloured black; representative impact and rigidity for this grade family.
ApplicationsComplex or thin-walled housings, automotive interior trim, electronic and appliance components with long flow paths.

ABS KUMHO HFA710 Fire Retardant - Black & Natural

A flame-retardant ABS grade for applications where components need to meet defined fire-safety requirements, available in both black and natural. It retains the impact strength and dimensional stability expected of ABS while incorporating flame-retardant additive technology.

ABS UNIPOL Repro Black - General Purpose

Our own reprocessed general-purpose ABS, supplied black, produced from 100% post-consumer recycled material. A cost-effective, lower-footprint alternative to virgin ABS for applications where full virgin-grade certification isn't required.
