HIPS KUMHO 425 MFI 10
A general-purpose high impact polystyrene grade from Kumho Petrochemical with an MFI of around 10. Offers a practical balance of impact strength, stiffness and processability for standard injection moulding applications.
HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene) is a rigid, cost-effective general-purpose thermoplastic modified with rubber to give useful impact resistance without the cost of an engineering resin. We stock virgin grades from Kumho Petrochemical and Dioki alongside our own repro range, across a range of melt flow indices to suit a wide variety of moulding applications.
A general-purpose high impact polystyrene grade from Kumho Petrochemical with an MFI of around 10. Offers a practical balance of impact strength, stiffness and processability for standard injection moulding applications.
A general-purpose HIPS grade from Dioki with an MFI of around 8, offering a slightly lower flow than higher-MFI alternatives for applications needing a touch more melt strength or thicker section control.
Our own reprocessed HIPS, supplied black, with an MFI of around 10 — a cost-effective, lower-footprint alternative to virgin material for less critical applications.
