Product range

HDPE

High density polyethylene is stiffer and stronger than its low density counterpart, giving good impact resistance and chemical resistance across a wide temperature range. Our range spans low-MFI grades built for blow moulding through to higher-flow injection moulding grades, sourced through established producers including Petkim (Petilen) and Egyptene.

MFI 0.3 – 23 Blow moulding, injection moulding & crates

HDPE PETKIM Range MFI 0.3

A low-MFI HDPE from Petkim's Petilen range, formulated for applications that need high melt strength to hold shape during processing. Typical of this MFI class, it's best suited to blow moulding and pipe rather than fast-fill injection work.

Typical propertiesMFI ~0.3 g/10min, density in the typical HDPE range (~0.945–0.955 g/cm³), high melt strength representative of a low-flow blow moulding/pipe grade
ApplicationsBlow-moulded bottles and containers, pipe and technical extrusion applications
BrandPetkim

HDPE EGYPTENE 5740UA MFI 4

An injection moulding HDPE grade from Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals' Egyptene range. A moderate MFI of 4 gives a practical balance of flow and impact strength for moulded technical parts and heavy-duty containers.

Typical propertiesMFI ~4 g/10min, density typical of an injection-grade HDPE, good impact strength for a moulded product
ApplicationsLarge dustbins and pails, pallet boxes, fish crates and other technical mouldings

HDPE EGYPTENE 6070UA MFI 7.5

A higher-flow Egyptene injection moulding grade with a narrow molecular weight distribution, suited to thinner-walled, faster-cycle mouldings than the 5740UA grade.

Typical propertiesMFI ~7.5 g/10min, narrow molecular weight distribution, representative flow and stiffness for a general injection moulding HDPE
ApplicationsCrates, boxes, seating and pallets, and other injection-moulded industrial parts

HDPE LITEN MB87 MFI 23

A high-MFI HDPE copolymer, giving the fast flow needed for thin-wall, fast-cycle injection moulding. This is a general injection moulding grade rather than a film or blow moulding material.

Typical propertiesMFI ~23 g/10min, density around 0.955 g/cm³, high flow representative of a fast-cycle injection moulding copolymer
ApplicationsInjection-moulded containers, food containers and household goods
