Polypropylene copolymer (PPCP) combines the stiffness of PP with an ethylene co-monomer that improves impact strength, particularly at lower temperatures. We stock reactor impact and random copolymer grades from MOL (Tipplen) and Slovnaft (Tatren), plus talc-filled compounds and our own recycled-content Unipol range, covering an MFI span wide enough for extrusion, blow moulding and high-speed thin-wall injection moulding alike.
A very low-MFI impact copolymer built for high melt strength rather than fast flow. The low fluidity keeps the melt stable as it leaves the die, which is what extrusion and blow moulding processes need to hold shape before cooling.
Typical propertiesMFI ~0.35 g/10min; high melt strength; good low-temperature impact resistance
ApplicationsPipe and profile extrusion, blow-moulded containers, large hollow parts
A high molecular weight, recyclable reactor impact copolymer. The low-to-medium MFI favours toughness and dimensional stability over fast fill, making it a reliable choice where wall sections are thicker and impact performance matters more than cycle time.
Typical propertiesMFI ~2 g/10min; high molecular weight; good impact/stiffness balance
ApplicationsTechnical injection mouldings, crates and containers, larger appliance parts
An impact copolymer with a higher ethylene content, giving it stronger low-temperature toughness than a standard grade at a similar flow. A dependable general-purpose choice for injection moulders who need a margin of impact performance built in.
A reactor impact copolymer processed for a steady, well-balanced stiffness-to-impact ratio at medium flow. Consistent processing behaviour makes it a straightforward drop-in for general injection moulding lines.
Typical propertiesMFI ~6 g/10min; balanced stiffness and impact resistance; good processing stability
ApplicationsGeneral injection moulding, technical parts, household and appliance components
A medium-flow impact copolymer with high stiffness that stays well balanced by impact resistance, so it doesn't trade away toughness to get there. Good processing stability suits moulders running longer production series.
Typical propertiesMFI ~12 g/10min; high stiffness with balanced impact resistance
ApplicationsTechnical injection mouldings, automotive components, general industrial parts
A recyclable reactor impact copolymer at a mid-range MFI, offering a practical middle ground between flow and toughness for everyday injection moulding work.
A higher-flow reactor impact copolymer aimed at thin-wall injection moulding, where the part needs to fill quickly without sacrificing the impact resistance the "high impact" designation promises.
Typical propertiesMFI ~25 g/10min; enhanced impact resistance; good flow for faster fill
ApplicationsThin-wall injection moulding, automotive and appliance parts subject to impact loading
A high-fluidity reactor impact copolymer for fast-filling, thin-wall injection moulding, keeping stiffness and impact resistance in good balance even at speed.
Typical propertiesMFI ~55 g/10min; high fluidity; good stiffness/impact balance
ApplicationsThin-wall, fast-cycle injection moulding, packaging closures, small technical parts
The highest-flow grade in the Tatren range we stock, designed for exceptionally fast, high-speed thin-wall injection moulding where short cycle times are the priority and good organoleptic properties keep it suitable for food-contact parts.
Typical propertiesMFI ~65 g/10min; exceptionally high fluidity; low taste/odour
ApplicationsHigh-speed thin-wall injection moulding, food packaging components, fast-cycle production
A talc-filled PP copolymer compound available at 20% or 30% loading, in black or natural. Adding mineral filler raises stiffness and dimensional stability and reduces shrinkage and warpage versus an unfilled grade at a similar flow — a common substitution where a moulded part needs to hold tight tolerances.
Unipol is our own reprocessed PP copolymer line, available at MFI 12 or MFI 35 in black. It gives moulders a cost-effective, recycled-content alternative to prime material for applications where colour and cosmetic finish are less critical, without the lead times of a bespoke recyclate.
