Masterbatch is a concentrated pigment pellet, let down at a low dosage into a base resin during moulding or extrusion to colour the finished part. Our own-brand black masterbatch gives processors a consistent, cost-effective way to add a deep black finish, typically with a degree of UV stabilisation, across a wide range of polymers.

Our own-brand general-purpose black masterbatch, formulated as a concentrated carbon-black pigment in a general-purpose ("NG") carrier. It is let down into the base polymer at a low dosage during processing to deliver a consistent, deep black finish across a production run.

Typical propertiesHigh pigment loading for consistent jet-black colouring, typically offering a degree of UV stabilisation; exact letdown ratio and carrier compatibility should be confirmed against the base resin for each application.
